SMTG 12-009 :: SVARTE GREINER "MAN BIRD DRESS" LP :: 3 new epic tracks from Erik Skodvin aka Svarte Greiner. Two studio tracks and one live recording combine for 31 minutes of nature and technology colliding. 300 copies are housed in a gorgeous silkscreened, chipboard cover. 35 test pressings are housed in hand numbered envelopes with a Lynchian historical print from Dementi Studios inside. Takes all the things you loved about "Knive" and expands them into darker realms.

SMTG 3-001 :: ANDUIN "THE RIVER'S PATH" 3 inch CDR :: A dark and hypnotic musical document from this Richmond VA based artist. The River's Path is the first solo release from Jonathan Lee aka Anduin, one third of the instrumental monster Souvenir's Young America. This is a record made for headphones and evenings, providing a kaleidoscopic effect with it's multitude of layers. Autumn field recordings mingle with electronic bliss and a variety of effect soaked instruments. The eerie acoustic pulls fade in and out of a beautiful ambient pulse with a menacing abstraction. Plus the handscreened and stamped covers make this little release a real treat. 


SMTG 3-002 :: VENTOUX "VENTOUX" 3 inch CDR :: Ventoux is the solo project of Graham Scala, Souvenir's Young America member and multi-instrumentalist. This is his follow up to a short run demo released last year. Rolling ambient dronescapes that haunt the soul and melt the mind. Split CD with Years coming out soon on Magic Bullet. Drone on. SMTG 3-003 :: NOAH SAVAL "SONGS FOR TANYUA" 3 inch CDR :: Noah Saval is a harmonica giant and not just because of his huge stature. His contributions to bands like Souvenir's Young America have brought him rave reviews and this, his first solo outing, can be called nothing other than Future Blues. Layers of harmonica make sounds you've never heard a harmonica make, thanks in part to electronic and organ contributions from Anduin. SMTG 3-004 :: MONOLITH ZERO "SOUND FOR DELETED SPACES" 3 inch CDR :: Former 804 Noise contributor and active soundscape creator Adam Hudson has created a piece that fits it's ominous title. Electroacoustic, phantom sounds sweep in and out of your ears to reveal hidden surprises. Made for huge speakers or large headphones. Monsterous sound art indeed. SMTG 3-005 :: CAUSTIC CASTLE "MAKEPIECE" 3inch CDR :: Kenneth Yates is a productive guy. He's made a name for himself working on projects like 804 Noise, Harm Stryker, and Insects With Tits, but with Caustic Castle you find his noise fine tuned. The warbles, clicks, hisses, and buzz still remain amazingly musical, especially with the addition of sax from Clifford Schwin. Each cover is hand made and no two are alike. Pictures on the cover from the Dementi Archive, bird head stamp on the back, and all held together by multicolored yarn. 30 copies... all sold on the east coast dates with Anduin.
